PlayTo is an Xbox feature that enables your Xbox 360 or Xbox One console to play streamed media from compatible devices and apps in Windows 10, including the Groove Music and Movies & TV apps.
Note PlayTo is available only on devices that have Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA)-compliant playback capabilities, such as computers and some phones. You can only use PlayTo with your Xbox console if you're running Windows 10 or Windows 8.1 on your PC or device.

Nov 11, 2020 Received my XBox Series X today, this is my first XBox. I can't get local game streaming from the XBox to my Windows 10 PC to work. On this site, MS claims that game streaming only works with XBox One, not Series X, when using the companion app. Having tried it nevertheless, it tells me the XBox wouldn't be set up correctly. With the latest updates to the operating system and Xbox app, Microsoft has really simplified the method of streaming games to your mobile device. The settings are minimal at best, so there is. The PBS KIDS Video app gives kids and parents access to thousands of free videos, including full episodes and clips from top PBS KIDS series. With this app, kids can watch their favorite PBS KIDS shows anytime, anywhere! Because 5 GHz networks are less prone to interference from other wireless devices, you should put only your streaming device and your Xbox One on the 5 GHz band. Put other computers, phones, laptops, and tablets on the 2.4 GHz network band. OneCast is an app available for iPhone, iPad and Apple TV (also with versions for Android and macOS) that streams your Xbox One games to any supported device, in high definition video with near-zero lag.
